My name is Stefan, I am 30 years old and hail from the US, living in Germany for the past 7 years with my beautiful wife Tiffany. We moved over here after college when I started a job as a stock broker. We are expecting the birth of our first child in November of this year – a baby daughter.
Will you be giving investment advice on here?
Absolutely not, that’s work and this blog is fun time. Besides, that would put me in a very tight spot with not only my employer, but also SEC rules. So absolutely no investment advice on here or through private email.

Why are you writing the blog?
Well, to tell you the truth – I am not a diary keeping kind of guy. I have toyed with the idea of starting a blog a few times but never followed through with it. My wife on the other hand is a blog junkie – have a look at them, they are fantastic. Anyways, lately I have been thinking about making some changes in my lifestyle to find the perfect balance between career and home life. This blog is my diary of a dad to be wearing too many hats around here.
